Job Description

Role Summary:
At Citadel Securities, a leading global market maker, our analysts collaborate in fundamental research and work at identifying trading opportunities and market inefficiencies across our coverage. You will be a primary analyst responsible for covering volatility catalysts affecting the Brazilian equity market. You will work closely with senior options traders, engaging in creative decision making and leveraging our information resources and primary data sets. An analyst will engage in analysis of breaking news, providing real time opinions on impactful headlines as well as tracking longer term catalysts.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain primary research coverage for the Brazilian equity market, focusing on volatility catalysts
  • Identify and evaluate key company and industry wide catalysts
  • Engage in company specific valuation and dividend forecasting
  • Analyze special situations and unusual corporate actions
  • Provide real-time opinions and analyst around breaking news
 
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of financial research experience, preferably relating to emerging markets
  • Executed all aspects of the fundamental analysis process
  • Exceptional solving open ended problems using analytical methods
  • Excellent scientific, analytical, mathematical, and financial skills
  • Strong in both top-down and bottom-up methodologies to generate profitable trade ideas
  • Motivation to function independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Curiosity, intuition, integrity, and professionalism
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top university
