Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Events Manager based in New York to support client facing events and engagements globally. The ideal candidate has proven ability to manage a varied workload in a dynamic environment, has outstanding business judgement and time management skills, and has adaptability/willingness to do whatever is needed (e.g., play up or “down” a role) to achieve success.
The Events Manager will join the Strategic Client Coverage Group team and will work with senior stakeholders across Citadel Securities as part of regular duties. The Strategic Client Coverage Group partners with Business Heads, Function Heads and external parties to facilitate initiatives that drive the CEO’s efficacy and efficiency.
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the head of client events and engagements by planning and executing virtual and in person events
• Managing a dynamic global events calendar, and being able to prioritize as needed from one event to the next as business needs change
• Coordinating multiple event aspects such as: contracting, billing, offsite/onsite planning and production, prep materials around meetings/events and data entry around events
• Creating and maintaining events in Cvent
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier University
• 4+ years previous experience in a similar role at a top-tier institution
• Outstanding design, project management and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to effectively interface with senior leaders
• Ability to effectively navigate complex organizations and ambiguous professional situations; awareness of how and when to move things forward


In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000.

In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans, and access to other healthcare programs.
