Nirubhan “Niru” Pathmanabhan

As Head of EMEA, Nirubhan “Niru” Pathmanabhan is responsible for driving growth across all asset classes in the region, working closely with our global leadership team. Niru is based in London.

Niru joined Citadel Securities in 2026 from Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently Partner and Co-Head of Global Interest Rate Product Trading, and served as a Member of the European Management Committee and the Global Banking & Markets Operating Committee.

Niru earned his MA in Mathematics from Oxford University.
